When you think of a Fender Telecaster, the first thing that comes to mind isn’t “heavy metal.” You probably think of Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones, or Syd Barrett of Pink Floyd. No, Jim Root of Slipknot uses his Telecaster for very, very heavy music. If you’ve ever heard one of Slipknot’s songs, you would understand what we mean when we say heavy. Root doesn’t use the standard Telecaster, though. His guitar has two EMG humbuckers, compared to the standard Telecaster with two single-coils. Root’s guitar also has one knob, which is used for volume. This beauty has black hardware and jumbo frets on top of a sleek rosewood neck.

Broadway Finally Announces Their New Album Realease Date

Broadway’s new album, “Gentleman’s Brawl,” is set to come out May 22nd of this year. Broadway has kept their fans waiting for over a year, telling them that the album was already done but it couldn’t be released yet. Three years earlier, they gave their fans an amazing album called “Kingdoms” featuring a huge hit, “Same Thing We Do Everyday, Pinky.” The new album, however, has no guest singers like the last one.
